Whats the current advice for pregnant women?

What is the current advice for pregnant woman in relation to what food they can eat and how much? I'm getting so mixed advice from doctors I would love your opinions and advice too.Whats the current advice for pregnant women?
You aren't supposed to eat raw meat/fish or fish high in mercury. Only one can a tuna a week. No alcohol of course and no medications. Besides that just eat sensibly. You will crave what your baby needs. Eat lots of dairy so that you have calcium because your baby will take yours. You need about 500 more calories than usual. Once/if you are breastfeeding you will need and extra 800-1000 calories.

Congratulations and good luckWhats the current advice for pregnant women?
You just eat nutritious food. No preveserved meats like deli without first cooking fully, no cheeses made with unpasteurized milk, no unpasteurized milk, and limit your intake of high mercury laden fish like shark. Other then that, you just eat what you'd eat normally.

WTF? No it's not no smoked salmon, kippered salmon and lox are out - that's cold smoked salmon. You want hot smoked, which many are, and if it's smoked and canned you're golden. Retard.
Well everything I've ever read and heard from my doctors your supposed to eat healthy and in moderation's. Don't starve yourself. But don't gorge yourself and eat nothing but junky fatty foods. Your baby gets all his/her nutrition from a lot of foods you eat (so therefore you need to eat healthy) don't deny your self cravings such as sweets, salty, fatty foods just eating them in moderation's and continue to eat healthy and exercise unless your on a restriction or have a high risk pregnancy. Everybody always thinks just because there pregnant that means that they can eat what ever and how ever much they want and really you can't. Well you can but in the long run its just not good for you or the baby. You still need to stay on a regular diet.. they have like charts and stuff that you can look at for do's and don'ts of what you can and can't eat and how much of it you should eat. I really like WEBMD's eating healthfully for 2 guide to what you can and can't eat and how much etc.
You should not eat the following-anything raw including eggs and steak, make sure its well done. Tuna should be eaten only once a week if you choose to eat it at all due to mercury levels. Do not consume honey or lunch meat of any kind unless you are prepared to cook it to kill all the germs that are on it and could make you sick or hurt your unborn child.

As far as how much you eat depends on your weight gain. Preganancy is no time diet of course but you shouldn't be eating all day long either. Choose healthy snacks when you can. As long as you or your baby aren't gainig too much weight too fast don't stress it.
Top things (advised in the USA - other countries are different):

1. Take Folic Acid daily. No exceptions. Get it today. Don't wait.

2. No unpasteurized dairy, period. Just read the labels and you'll be OK. Also avoid Apple Cider from Farm Stalls.

3. No sushi, smoked salmon, raw fish, and I'm not sure about meat (because I don't eat it anyway) but there's something about pate and hotdogs you need to avoid.

4. No blue cheese.

Mostly, just eat lots of fruit and veggies, drink milk or eat yogurt for calcium and protein, have smaller meals more frequently to keep your blood sugar up.
check regular docter checkup
eat what your baby feels like to eating.

healty every one know what is healty food
