I am a 32 year old woman, who is wishing to take a trip/tour by myself or with a women only tour group. The women only tour groups that I have researched are EXPENSIVE (working with a limited budget here). Any advice on women only tours that are more reasonably priced, or any advice on where would be a good destination to visit as a single woman without breaking the bank?Advice from women who have traveled alone?
Go somewhere with an all-inclusive resort. Mexico or a Caribbean island. They have entertainment and all your food at the resort and also have excursions you can go on with other resort guests. I went to Cancun like this when I was 21 by myself. I had a great time and met people and felt totally safe the whole time.Advice from women who have traveled alone?
I took a cruise by myself recently and had a great time. I was afraid I would be alone but just the opposite happened. I sat at a large table for dinner and everyone included me with their plans. Going to the shows or on tours you're always with the group so you're not really alone. I made some new friends and we now e-mail and are planning to visit soon. When I didn't show for dinner 1 night the group at my table sent the cabin steward to check on me. I still did what I wanted to though. Sometimes I did things on my own when I got to the islands. Try it and be adventurous.By the way, I'm about 7 yrs older than you.
Try mangotree.com - they pair up solo travellers with similar interests. Hopefully you can find some travel buddies on there, otherwise dont be afraid to go it alone and/or do some short tours whilst overseas. Best of luck!
having been as far as the middle east, itcould be very dangerous for a woman to travel alone.. an alternative would be try to gather a small group of womwn form your work, church, communitee and go together. you don't have to know each other, you can get aquainted on the road.. have fun but be ve\eeerrrrryy carful, can't stress that enough...
