Is it dangerous to clean the bathroom during pregnancy?


I mean about products that we use to sterilize the bathroom,could harm the baby?Advice from pregnant women,when you clean the bathroom?
Well I have heard different opinions on cleaning products and pregnancy. I am 33 weeks pregnant and clean mine two times a week. I use mr clean and an organic brand all natural cleaner called method.. I absolutely love method it works wonderful.. you can get it at target, its hard to find some places.Advice from pregnant women,when you clean the bathroom?
I have my husband and father in-law do the heavy duty cleaning like the shower because the scrubbing bubbles is VERY potent. I dont even like to smell it or be around it while not pregnant. I just LOVE how well it chews through soap scum.





For the toilet however, I have the neat Clorox toilet wand that you dont ever have to touch. You click in the new tip, clean the toilet, and puch the button and it falls in the trash. I can smell the cleaning product a little, but not nearly as much as aerosals etc.
It's not good to inhale all the cleaning chemicals but you can't go without cleaning the bathroom for 9 months! so what I do is turn the fan on in the bathroom and I got a mask and rubber gloves when I scrub. When it comes time to bleach the tub and stuff my boyfriend puts bleach in squirt bottle for me and just sprays the tub so I don't have to be in there at all with the bleach. You don't even have to scrub really if you use bleach. Just be sure you have someone else spray it for you because it is STRONG. Even with the mask you can breathe alot of the chemicals so just take periodic breaks and keep the room well ventilated. Good luck!!
Basically anything used for cleaning can be harmful to the baby. My whole pregnancy I have worn gloves and a paper mask while cleaning. If you can still smell the products with the mask on open a window. It can't hurt to be too cautious.
My husband cleans ours as he don't want to risk anything. He cleans it every 3 days as I like to relax in the bathtub a few times a week.
its perfectly fine to clean the bathroom using regular cleanser but yes avoid using bleach and things with strong odour and fumes they r definately dangerous.
I dont think so, just make sure the window is open, I did it plenty of times and my little one is perfect xxx
