There's a lot of questions and advice on this board so what information or advice would you give to pregnant women? All the mother's on the board what advice would you give pregnant women?
remember being a parent is not something your born knowing how to do ...its something you learn ...either from your parents...or from whatever means you were taught...it doesnt always mean its the right way... you learn your way... but never be afraid to ask for advice ...and never lie to your children...and communication is the most important part of any relationship... never show judgement ...only willingness to disscuss... and your children will never be afraid to come to you no matter how small or large the problem.... i have this type of relationship with my children ...they come to me about any problem ..from sex..relationships..anything that bothers them ...and know i will be unbiased...if they are wrong i will say that is what i think ..and explain why ...... enjoy them they arent little for longAll the mother's on the board what advice would you give pregnant women?
eat healthy, take your prenatal vitamins (folic acid is especially important), don't drink, smoke, or take drugs ...
Dont ever try to get your teeth pulled.
If you are having morning sickness or afternoon sickness or all day sickness, take heart. It usually subsides by the end of the third month. Seven up and a soda cracker sometimes helps. Eat regular meals a day but don't overeat. Eat healthy, well balanced meals, take a multivitamin or prenatal vitamin daily. Get plenty of rest. Zero caffeine, alcohol, smoking or drugs is best. Avoid aspirin, take tylenol if headache. Exercise and yoga are good during pregnancy but do not overdo it. Avoid stress, as far as possible. Avoid prolonged sitting in a car. Go to La Maze class to learn how to breathe during labor. Read books on baby and child care. Have fun planning the baby room and get all the baby things ready no later than a month before you are due. Babies often come earlier than expected. Congratulations! This is only the beginning of an incredible journey.
absolutely do NOT drink while pregnant! Your child can get Fetal Alcohol Syndrome from just one drink and be neurologically impaired for the rest of his/her life.
Don't smoke or drink alcohol. Eat a green thing everyday. Stay away from nuclear waste and don't drink the tap water if you go to Mexico.
What whirlwind said....yea yea yea
get ready for a new wild ride
Do not take HOT baths. Do not wear tight clothes. Get all the sleep you can. Don't worry yourself too much about the future, take it one day at a time. Relax, breathe, enjoy the moments. Get all the sleep you can :) when the baby comes, no matter how dirty the house is, who needs to be called or what needs to be done, sleep when the baby sleeps. Dont fight the sleep schedule. instead follow it. and above all love yourself no matter what your belly and body look like from being pregnant.

p.s. get all the sleep you can.
those 9 months are pure hell
