Why do women often prefer a guy's advice over another woman's, especially in technical areas?

I have met some women who seem to be all for an egalitarian society, but they always rather listen to what a man has to say, instead of a woman. Among them, there were women bosses and women in technical roles. What do you think cause that attitude in women toward another woman?Why do women often prefer a guy's advice over another woman's, especially in technical areas?
its pathetic and they are just enjoying the benefits if the womens rights movements without having to go through any of the hard work or struggle. Most women dont really want equal rights, they just want to ';go with the flow';....pathetic if u ask me.....its not just men to blame for sexism, its women who reinforce these stereotypes.....women pick up these attitudes from our culture and they dont question them, ppl are sheep........they do what they need to get by, not what is right.....sadly....and in the uk feminism is kind of a bit of a dirty word.....seen as man haters......well im a feminist and Im fast becoming a woman hater!Why do women often prefer a guy's advice over another woman's, especially in technical areas?
I don't know because where I worked the best employees were women. When I wanted to discuss a technical case with someone I sought out 2 or 3 women %26amp; they sought me out.





I would prefer to think that a woman is mature enough to seek out the best person as opposed to a man (who might be the best person) just because he's a man.





Maybe some women want the man to pay attention to them. I'm looking forward to seeing other answers.
